Interior Designer – Hospitality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create design concepts, spatial arrangements, material selections, bespoke furnishings, and premium visual representations for hospitality settings.

• Generate coordinated design documentation and comprehensive hospitality solutions.

• Partner with architects, project managers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and fabricators.

• Implement hospitality planning, programming, accessibility, life-safety standards, finish specifications, lighting coordination, millwork detailing, and FF&E expertise.

• Act as a design and technical resource throughout concept development, presentations, documentation, procurement coordination, construction administration, installation, and project completion.

• Craft client presentations and formulate finish and furniture specifications.

• Evaluate submittals and shop drawings, address information requests, perform site observations, and assist with punch-list and installation tasks.

• Lead key segments of intricate hospitality projects.

• Mentor junior interior designers and enhance their design development, technical execution, presentation skills, material research, and understanding of firm standards.

• Contribute to design and technical standards, quality control, interdisciplinary coordination, and alignment with brand guest experiences.

• Supervise the technical dimensions of interior projects from initial design through to coordinated solutions and documentation.

• Provide design leadership throughout project planning and execution.

• Independently implement advanced interior design concepts and devise enhanced methods, tools, and solutions.

• Assess complex design challenges and formulate actionable recommendations and solutions.

• Maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Engage in designated marketing initiatives to promote the firm.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior architecture or interior design (or equivalent).

• At least 5 years of professional experience in interior design or a related discipline.

• Advanced skills in design and modeling software, such as Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Strong capabilities in documentation and presentation.

• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills.

• Experience in managing complex or large-scale project components.

• NCIDQ certification required.

• Candidates must already have work authorization in the country where the position is located.

• Additional specialty certifications are a plus.
