Interim Senior Accountant, Odoo

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Month-end closing and investor reporting: Evaluate, structure, and enhance current closing procedures while further advancing and automating reporting.

• Year-end closing: Create a transparent and well-coordinated closing process with clearly defined responsibilities and specific steps to follow.

• Cash flow management: Refine the existing bottom-up, Excel-based cash flow planning, enhance data sources, and where applicable, implement an appropriate software solution with scenario analysis capabilities.

• ERP and accounting processes: Assess the current DATEV and Odoo system landscape, improve interfaces, and automate manual processes.

• Process management: Proactively identify and prioritize areas of weakness, and execute improvements collaboratively with the involved teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed professional qualification as a certified accountant, commercial apprenticeship, or a comparable qualification.

• Strong knowledge of Odoo.

• Optional: Familiarity with DATEV.

• Experience in cash flow planning and reporting.

• Background in process optimization and automation.

• Ability to work independently and a passion for establishing structures that are still in development.
