Interim Finance Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the FY27 FP&A cycle from start to finish.

• Manage the budget, monthly reforecasts, board presentations, and executive business reviews on a monthly basis.

• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to enhance board and investor reporting.

• Impact strategic financial decisions.

• Lead the finance team while providing active mentorship to the Financial Controller and Finance Ops Associate.

• Offer ongoing coaching assistance during the month-end process.

• Assume the Finance Director role for approximately 8 months during maternity leave.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reside in the UK.

• Have long-term working rights in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship.

• Possess significant B2B SaaS experience over the past 2 years.

• Have personally managed an entire FP&A cycle end-to-end, including budget creation, reforecasts, and board reporting.

• Be accounting-literate and capable of supporting and challenging a controller.

• Act as the finance owner during a diligence process, which includes building the data room and addressing external scrutiny.

• Maintain a direct partnership with executives and the board, shaping and influencing key decisions.

• Have experience in leading a small finance team.

• Exhibit a hands-on approach and a readiness to engage actively.
