Interface Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of financial system interfaces and facilitate the migration of data from legacy systems to Momentum Financials.

• Lead the process of gathering requirements from end-users for interface, data conversion, and data cleansing activities.

• Conduct design reviews and set acceptance criteria.

• Comprehend business processes and create process maps as necessary.

• Provide functional support and document requirements, detailed design specifications, data conversion and cleansing plans, interface control documents, and user stories.

• Analyze both legacy and target system data and perform reconciliation activities.

• Coordinate development efforts to ensure that interface and data conversion decisions align with requirements, expectations, and regulations.

• Collaborate with programmers, database administrators, technical specialists, and other interface/business analysts.

• Gain expertise in the COTS tool, federal financial management processes, and best practices in ERP implementation.

• Create test scenarios and documentation and conduct validation testing.

• Monitor, track, and troubleshoot application operations and data, collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues.

• Develop training materials and educate end users.

• Enforce quality assurance standards and software development best practices.

• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.

• May oversee and mentor junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• US citizenship is a prerequisite.

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be accepted in place of formal education.

• Must be able to pass a Tier 2 MBI background investigation.

• 5 years of experience as a business systems/interface analyst.

• Proficient in working with Momentum Financials or comparable COTS financial ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.

• Experience in supporting the development of interfaces and/or large-scale data conversions.

• Familiarity with the Momentum Financials front-end and database.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in problem-solving.

• Capable of managing multiple shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL statements.
