This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take ownership of the coordination, planning, and implementation of a structured, multi-phase integration that is currently in progress.
• Assume responsibility for an early-stage merger integration and advance it from initial planning to detailed execution.
• Quickly familiarize yourself with the existing plan, workstream leaders, and stakeholders, driving pre-close milestones to completion in collaboration with the Chief of Staff.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive execution plans for 2026 across all workstreams, ensuring clear ownership, tracked milestones, and regular updates.
• Monitor workstream status and organize workgroup meetings effectively.
• Identify risks and obstacles, facilitate decision-making, and document outcomes to ensure stakeholders remain aligned and accountable.
• Create and implement a change management strategy across both organizations.
• Provide executive-ready updates and materials for steering committee and leadership reviews.
• Establish program-level guidance while directly executing tasks when necessary.
• Collaborate with leadership to define the 2027 roadmap and identify any gaps in readiness and coordination.
• PMP certification or a comparable project management credential is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience, including at least two end-to-end M&A integrations.
• Proficient in contemporary project management tools, such as Aha!, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint.
• Ability to meet high-availability expectations, including responsiveness during evenings and weekends for urgent matters.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in value-based care, technology-enabled clinical services companies, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), or managed care organizations.
• A background in consulting or experience in a consulting-related environment is preferred.
• Strong systems thinking capabilities, with a genuine comfort for complexity, interdependencies, and operating without complete information.
• Experience in bridging technology strategy with operational execution, including close collaboration with technology leaders to align product and systems decisions with broader integration objectives.
• Preferred candidates should be based in Chicago and available for regular in-person engagements.
