This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Assist with Abound-related and building intelligence initiatives, covering onboarding, integration, and solution development until customer turnover.
• Function as the technical lead within the project team.
• Engage in internal and external meetings, offering technical expertise.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and provide technical consultancy for both hardware and software.
• Collaborate with company and customer stakeholders, project managers, and IT managers.
• Aid in project scoping and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Coordinate the progress of customer installations and upgrades from inception to completion.
• Lead meetings focused on customer installations and upgrades.
• Open, monitor, and finalize completed projects using internal tracking systems.
• Maintain proficiency with existing and newly launched Carrier software products and technologies.
• Operate independently with operating systems, databases, networking, firewall ports, and protocols.
• Analyze customer sites and system requirements, recommending and implementing technical solutions.
• Identify and map BACnet points for integration into the Abound platform.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrated products and devices.
• Diagnose and resolve network and integration technical issues on customer sites or remotely, providing reports to management.
• Manage a pipeline of existing and targeted account customers.
• Design, operate, and implement features, processes, paradigms, and technologies that support cloud-platform integration.
• Contribute to architectural definition, technology evaluation, and best practices.
• Develop, debug, test, release, manage, and secure cloud-based or integration solutions.
• Support diagnostics, troubleshooting, and operations across technologies, identifying continuous improvement opportunities focused on quality, performance, and security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
• Over 3 years of experience with HVAC systems, including AC package units, VAV air distribution, cooling towers, pumps, and building automation systems.
• Must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Capable of passing background checks to obtain security clearances.
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of various HVAC systems, DDC controls and sensors, air compressors, pneumatic controls, life safety systems, generators, electrical distribution, and luminaires.
• Professional services consulting experience, particularly in B2B/B2E contexts.
• Experience working in a building controls environment (BMS).
• Familiarity with cloud-based platform integration.
• Knowledge of architectural definition, technology evaluation and selection, and engineering best practices.
• Proficiency in Network Architecture, Network Configuration, and wired/wireless protocols.
• Understanding of communication and data transfer protocols, including MQTT, BACnet, SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS, Web Services, and TLS.
• Experience with API and webhook configuration.
• Potential scripting ability using JavaScript, C++, or AI-aided tools.
