This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Define, design, and oversee the enterprise-level integration architecture across cloud, on-premises, hybrid, ERP, SaaS, and financial platforms.
• Architect scalable, resilient, and secure synchronous and asynchronous integration solutions.
• Develop API-led connectivity strategies, reusable integration services, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Create event-driven architectures and streaming data pipelines using Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or similar platforms.
• Establish enterprise messaging strategies and integration patterns.
• Design and manage integration pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, MuleSoft, or comparable platforms.
• Define ETL/ELT patterns and data movement strategies across Databricks, Data Lakes, Lakehouses, ADLS Gen2, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Architect integrations with Workday, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
• Set standards for message contracts, event schemas, schema registry, metadata management, API governance, and versioning.
• Produce integration specifications, canonical data models, mapping documents, validation rules, reconciliation controls, and error-handling frameworks.
• Design secure architectures using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, mTLS, RBAC, encryption, secrets management, and zero-trust principles.
• Lead integration platform governance, architecture reviews, design assurance, reusable assets, and reference architectures.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Drive cloud-native strategies utilizing Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, serverless computing, and microservices.
• Advocate for CI/CD, automated testing, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, and deployment automation.
• Establish monitoring, observability, logging, tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Assess emerging integration technologies, AI-powered platforms, Agentic AI, MCP, and intelligent automation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, pre-sales support, solution estimation, and client workshops.
• 8+ years of experience in integration architecture, data engineering, or middleware positions.
• A minimum of 3 years with a focus on finance, tax, or accounting technology.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with Azure Integration Services, including Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, Service Bus, API Management, Logic Apps, and Functions.
• Strong proficiency in event-driven architecture and streaming data pipelines for high-integrity financial data flows.
• Experience with RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API lifecycle governance.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture on Azure Databricks and ADLS Gen2.
• Experience integrating Workday, SAP, or Oracle within a financial data context.
• Familiarity with event schema design, message contracts, versioning, and schema registry patterns.
• Strong skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with distributed delivery teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to work autonomously and as part of a distributed team.
• Advantageous: MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Boomi, or similar iPaaS.
• Advantageous: e-Invoicing standards including PEPPOL, SAF-T, e-Fattura, or CFDI.
• Advantageous: Microsoft Purview.
• Advantageous: Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Bicep/Terraform.
