This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Define and uphold Cabot’s enterprise integration architecture, standards, patterns, and technology roadmap.
• Design and supervise intricate integrations spanning enterprise applications, cloud services, data platforms, manufacturing systems, and external partners.
• Spearhead the adoption and governance of APIs, event-driven integration, managed file transfer, and reusable integration services.
• Evaluate solution designs, technology selections, and architecture exceptions for conformity with enterprise standards.
• Drive integration modernization initiatives, including phasing out legacy technologies and minimizing technical debt.
• Ensure that solutions satisfy security, performance, availability, resiliency, monitoring, and supportability criteria.
• Collaborate with project teams throughout the phases of design, development, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
• Work closely with application owners, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data teams, operations, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Mentor integration developers and advocate for consistent engineering practices, documentation, and reuse.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Cabot’s Integration Center of Excellence.
• Success indicators include the adoption of standardized and reusable integration patterns, enhanced integration reliability and security, diminished legacy technology dependencies, increased API and shared-service reuse, and effective modernization and transformation delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Generally 7 or more years of experience in enterprise integration, solution architecture, middleware, or API management.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering complex integration solutions in global or hybrid cloud environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of integration patterns, API lifecycle management, messaging, event-driven architecture, and managed file transfer.
• Familiarity with integration security, identity, authentication, encryption, logging, monitoring, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, technical leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to convert business requirements into practical, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Preferred: Experience with enterprise resource planning, human resources, finance, manufacturing, data, and cloud platforms.
• Preferred: Experience in modernizing legacy integration technologies.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with global teams, managed service providers, or an Integration Center of Excellence.
