This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Create adapters and data mappings to connect Army work-request records, financial cost objects, and Maximo work and asset records.
• Ensure dependable message delivery through the use of outbox patterns, retries with backoff, idempotent consumers, and version checks.
• Manage a transparent exception queue that includes replay capabilities.
• Develop automated reconciliation and exception dashboards.
• Generate interface control documents and test evidence for approval by system owners.
• Oversee interface health and conduct root-cause analysis on any failures.
• Assist in reporting security incidents that involve interfaces.
• Adhere to secure coding practices, source control, and code review protocols.
• Utilize least-privilege service accounts while safeguarding secrets and credentials.
• Follow change management procedures, including obtaining approvals, conducting tests, and creating rollback plans.
• Travel occasionally to Fort Campbell during interface testing and system deployment.
• At least 5 years of experience in building integrations, including REST APIs, message queues, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Maximo Integration Framework.
• Hands-on experience with message-based integration and recovery from failures in production environments.
• Proficient in SQL and data-mapping techniques.
• Experience navigating Government test and production environment approval processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required for privileged access.
• Ability to pass a background check and secure installation access.
• Must successfully undergo a pre-employment drug screening.
• Capability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Azure Developer or integration certification is preferred.
• Experience with DoD installations, contracts, or programs is advantageous.
• Preferred experience with Azure API Management and Service Bus, SAP-based financial system interfaces, Army work-request and financial systems, idempotent and outbox delivery patterns, OWASP secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools (e.g., Git).
