This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee and refresh the Integrated Master Schedule for the VA program office, encompassing schedule management, dependency tracking, risk identification, and stakeholder coordination.
• Integrate multi-project schedules within the VA program office into a cohesive master schedule.
• Develop and manage integrated master schedules that incorporate sub-projects, workstreams, and dependencies.
• Ensure milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are aligned across projects.
• Evaluate schedule performance, conduct critical-path analysis, monitor progress, predict delays, and provide advance warnings.
• Collect updates from Government personnel and address timeline conflicts.
• Implement industry-standard scheduling tools and practices.
• Recognize schedule risks, perform what-if analyses, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
• Generate dashboards, summaries, schedule health assessments, and enterprise-level reports.
• Uphold governance processes and apply change-control protocols.
• Collaborate with customers, contracts, the PMO, and senior leadership.
• Educate and update senior management and the scheduling team.
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 8 years of overall experience.
• 5 years of practical experience with MS Project.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• A proactive approach and keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Adaptability and responsiveness to rapidly changing requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cooperative environment.
• Competence in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint.
• Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Experience in creating macros for MS Project (preferred).
• Familiarity with large healthcare organizations (preferred).
• Possession of PMI PMP or other scheduling certifications (preferred).
• Prior experience with VA or Federal entities (preferred).
