This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze medical records, clinical documentation, and payer guidelines to assess patient eligibility, qualification status, and compliance prior to service delivery.
• Engage with patients about their financial obligations, collect payments when necessary, and accurately document all interactions.
• Reach out to patients when documentation fails to meet payer standards, offering updates and alternative solutions to ensure timely care.
• Collaborate with referral sources, physicians, and clinical teams to secure complete and compliant documentation.
• Utilize knowledge of payer requirements to guarantee compliant service delivery.
• Keep patient information and communication documentation accurate and timely through electronic systems.
• Input referrals within designated timeframes while adhering to productivity and quality benchmarks.
• Work with leadership to ensure suitable inventory and services are selected and scheduled.
• Partner with sales, insurance verification, and internal support teams to streamline referrals and intake processes.
• Navigate various EMR and online systems to acquire and manage documentation effectively.
• Choose appropriate shipping and delivery methods following company protocols.
• Respond to incoming calls promptly, providing professional assistance to patients and referral sources.
• Participate in the on-call rotation during non-business hours.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to enhance team operations and maintain quality standards.
• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience is required.
• High School Diploma, Associate’s degree in a related field, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in a healthcare organization, pharmacy, HME, medical supply, or Medicare-certified environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, while paying attention to detail.
• Capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and healthcare systems is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and navigate multiple systems.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established procedures and directives.
• A company-conducted background check is required for all positions.
• A company-conducted Motor Vehicle Record Check is mandatory for all driving positions.
