Intake Claims Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Supervise daily workflow activities and ensure fair distribution of tasks.

• Assign claims queues, manual reviews, shop calls, and various operational responsibilities.

• Track task completion, workloads, employee productivity, claim volume, and manual review counts.

• Modify workload allocation to align with team capacity and business needs.

• Communicate any workload issues and their operational impacts to management.

• Create and implement workflow strategies to enhance throughput and minimize backlogs.

• Guarantee the timely handling of claims from receipt to delivery.

• Ensure accuracy in claims setup, including contact information, vehicle specifics, and file notes.

• Respond efficiently to intake team communications.

• Act as a contact point for escalations related to claims, customers, shops, and processes.

• Investigate problems and work towards prompt resolutions.

• Escalate complex or high-risk issues to management.

• Support the training of new employees.

• Offer coaching and assistance regarding procedures, systems, and best practices.

• Address inquiries and provide guidance in management's absence.

• Identify knowledge gaps and suggest training opportunities.

• Support operational objectives, process enhancements, and team development initiatives.

• Advocate for company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

• Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment.

• Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently.

• Capability to train, mentor, and support team members in a fast-paced setting.

• Preferred proficiency in claims management systems, workflow tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Leadership and team development skills.

• Workload planning and task assignment expertise.

• Knowledge of claims operations.

• Skills in conflict resolution and escalation management.

• Experience in process improvement and operational efficiency.

• Expertise in training and coaching.
