Insurance Specialist, French – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Engage with language models in both English and French regarding real-world insurance scenarios and technical inquiries.

• Ensure accuracy of facts and industry logic.

• Capture reproducible traces of errors.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Challenge advanced language models on topics related to insurance, fraud detection, regulations, and customer communication.

• Document failure modes of models to enhance reasoning capabilities.

• Assist in the creation of high-quality training data for AI applications in financial literacy, risk analysis, claims automation, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in insurance areas such as underwriting, claims processing, policy design, actuarial analysis, reinsurance, and risk management.

• Extensive knowledge of insurance practices and regulations in French-speaking regions.

• Capability to handle life, health, property, casualty, and commercial insurance matters.

• Familiarity with fraud detection, regulatory frameworks, and effective customer communication.

• Fluency in French is essential.

• Proficient in conversing in both English and French.

• Professional insurance certifications like CPCU or AIC indicate suitability.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills with the ability to "show your work."

• Experience within the insurance industry is a strong indicator of fit.

• A Master’s degree in insurance, finance, business administration, actuarial science, or a closely related field is preferred.
