Insurance Service Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver entry-level assistance and support to policyholders, emphasizing resolution on the first contact.

• Manage requests through a single communication channel, such as phone.

• Make and receive phone calls.

• Oversee policy information management.

• Safeguard customers by cross-selling and binding relevant products, coverages, and services.

• Anticipate and actively address prospective questions, needs, and issues.

• Elaborate on coverages and conduct thorough policy reviews.

• Provide insurance quotes for existing insurance policies.

• Process underwriting transactions within established authority levels.

• Assist policyholders through phone, web, and chat platforms.

• Collaborate with other agents to foster positive relationships and ensure timely resolutions.

• Aim for advancement into the Service Agent role.

• Actively pursue required licensure.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or a combination of education and at least 1 year of directly relevant work experience.

• Ability to train and execute the job in a remote environment while meeting work-from-home criteria.

• Possession of a P&C or Personal Lines License; if not licensed upon hire, must secure a license within 6 months of the hire date.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week during 24/7 operational hours.

• Flexibility for shifts that may conclude at 8:00 PM local time.

• Must be available to work at least one weekend day; days off may not be consecutive.

• Capability to be present at the home location and on camera during training sessions.

• Proficient in navigating Windows-based and web browser applications.

• Competent and precise keyboard skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Preferred: 1–2 years of previous sales and customer service experience in a personal lines insurance setting.

• Preferred: 1+ year of chat support experience.

• Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree.

• Preferred: Bilingual skills.

• Applicants must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States.
