This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.
• Create new business opportunities and enhance revenue growth within the designated territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with retail agents.
• Recognize workers' compensation prospects, expansion opportunities, and cross-selling potential.
• Introduce and inform agents about IPMG products and services.
• Engage in agent visits, trade shows, and carrier events.
• Assist underwriters with client service and retention strategies.
• Achieve revenue, profitability, and carrier performance objectives for the territory.
• Ensure precise documentation and compliance with workflow protocols.
• Communicate effectively with agents, carriers, and internal teams.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.
• Travel 50% within the eastern region, including overnight stays as necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance sector.
• At least 3 years of sales experience.
• Comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced production setting.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Resourceful, organized, and self-motivated approach.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the insurance field.
• Possession of an Insurance Producer's License for Casualty and Fire, or the ability to obtain it promptly.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Candidates must currently reside in Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, or Knoxville, or their metropolitan areas.
• Willingness to travel 50% in the eastern region, including overnight travel as necessary.
• Preferred experience managing a Workers Comp book of business.
• Established network of agency connections in the Eastern region is advantageous.
• Familiarity with an insurance policy management system such as AIM and HubSpot is preferred.
• Experience working remotely is a plus.
• Successful applicants must complete substance, credit, and criminal background checks as well as computer literacy assessments.
• Short Fridays: 8-5 Monday through Thursday, and 8:30-3 on Friday.
