This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop realistic scenarios for pricing, reserving, and risk modeling.
• Generate scenarios that include ratemaking, loss reserving, valuation, experience studies, assumption-setting, and profitability analysis.
• Create pricing models, conduct reserve reviews, draft actuarial memoranda, establish technical assumptions, and summarize results.
• Write exemplary reference responses that meet the quality standards of experienced actuarial professionals.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses using rubrics that assess methodological validity, calculation precision, assumption justification, and clarity of communication.
• Detect flawed methodologies, calculation inaccuracies, unsupported assumptions, and gaps in documented reasoning.
• Offer written insights to enhance model performance.
• Engage in onboarding sessions and calibration meetings.
• Contribute to projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional actuarial experience in any practice area.
• A solid understanding of how methods, assumptions, and data influence pricing, reserves, and valuations.
• Capability to choose suitable methods, perform analyses, and present defensible conclusions with documented rationale.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills, sound judgment, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to differentiate actuarial analysis from underwriting decisions and formal financial or legal advice.
• Bonus: ASA, FSA, ACAS, FCAS, CERA, MAAA, or equivalent credential, or actively pursuing exams.
• Bonus: Experience across various practice areas or specialty lines.
• Bonus: Background in reinsurance, capital modeling, or enterprise risk.
• Bonus: Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, SQL, or actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, Emblem, Radar, ResQ).

• Minimum availability of 20 hours per week, ideally 40+ hours.
