Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and construct learning materials based on approved program outlines across multiple simultaneous programs.

• Produce e-learning modules, instructor-led training sessions, blended learning experiences, simulations, videos, assessments, practice exercises, performance support tools, and job aids.

• Utilize AI-assisted authoring tools and prompt engineering for brainstorming, drafting, storyboarding, format conversion, and generating assessment questions.

• Verify the accuracy, instructional integrity, and quality of AI-generated outputs.

• Implement best practices in instructional design, adult learning principles, and experiential learning methods.

• Ensure that learning materials comply with WCAG, ADA, accessibility, inclusion, branding, tone, and user experience standards.

• Perform quality assurance checks prior to deployment, confirming functionality, accessibility, content accuracy, compliance, and policy alignment.

• Design solutions utilizing Lennar’s Learning Management System and create supplementary assets such as video caption files.

• Work collaboratively with Facilitators through dry runs to refine learning activities and prepare delivery-ready materials.

• Carry out minor edits and one-off updates to published assets, escalating significant content changes to the Program Lead.

• Engage in content review sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.

• Evaluate learner feedback, assessment data, and performance metrics to enhance learning experiences.

• Maintain component libraries, templates, and design documentation.

• Share AI prompts, techniques, and best practices to enhance team workflows.

• Collaborate in an open manner and demonstrate Leadership Matters behaviors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Education, Learning Experience Design, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field within a corporate setting.

• Proficient in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.

• Skilled in multimedia development tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, and video editing software.

• Experience utilizing AI-assisted workflows in content design or development.

• Proficient in AI content generation tools and prompt engineering for learning and development applications.

• Capability to assess and ensure the quality of AI-generated outputs.

• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, experiential learning principles, and learning evaluation models.

• Familiarity with WCAG and ADA accessibility standards.

• Ability to apply inclusive design principles across deliverables.

• Experience with Learning Management Systems, LMS content delivery, assessment tools, and AI-enabled capabilities.

• Excellent writing, visual communication, and storytelling skills.

• Skill in translating complex topics into engaging, learner-friendly content across various modalities.

• Ability to facilitate content review sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts.

• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

• Capability to operate computer equipment and perform the required physical activities, including lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
