Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create and develop customer-oriented materials such as course guides, presentation decks, quizzes, and certification assessments.

• Update and refine existing course content as the product advances.

• Develop interactive lab exercises and practical activities linked to product workflows.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), product managers, and the training team to convert new features and releases into organized learning materials.

• Assist in the creation of NASBA CPE-accredited on-demand courses for professionals in accounting and finance.

• Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance research, storyboarding, and course creation processes.

• Opportunity to co-facilitate webinars or office hours as product expertise increases.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in instructional design through professional roles, internships, coursework, or portfolio projects.

• Proficiency in creating eLearning content with Synthesia or the capability to quickly learn new authoring tools.

• Excellent writing and editing abilities.

• Skill in transforming complex technical workflows into understandable learning materials.

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.

• Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects under time-sensitive release schedules.
