This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee and manage version control for CDI’s catalog of both online and in-person learning programs.
• Strategize and execute approved updates to existing live programs in collaboration with the Live Programs team.
• Ensure facilitator guides, slide presentations, participant materials, and survey items are consistently aligned with changes in source content.
• Maintain the changelog for Perspectives, archive outdated versions, and guarantee that cohort content can be reconstructed upon request.
• Compose and refine module text, discussion prompts, activities, and assessments for evaluation by the Senior Director of Education.
• Assist Senior Curriculum Designers with partner-facing design initiatives.
• Conduct pre-release quality assurance for Perspectives alongside the Product team, which includes proofreading, verifying links and media, checking accessibility, and performing end-to-end learner experience testing.
• Manage and organize the content feedback backlog sourced from facilitators, partners, learner surveys, and support tickets.
• Classify requests, pinpoint recurring challenges, and propose solutions.
• Report to the Senior Director of Education and collaborate with Education, Live Programs, Product teams, facilitators, partners, and learners.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in creating or maintaining educational content in instructional design, curriculum development, educational technology, or a similar field.
• Solid understanding of instructional design principles, including backward design, measurable learning outcomes, and adult learning theories.
• Practical experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) or course-authoring tools such as Canvas, Moodle, Articulate Rise/Storyline, or comparable platforms.
• Familiarity with digital accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508.
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including a reliable QA process and comfort with version control and documentation.
• Ability to write clearly and accessibly, simplifying complex concepts without diluting their essence.
• Authentic interest in fostering constructive dialogue, embracing viewpoint diversity, and enhancing higher education.
• Experience in higher education, preferably within a center for teaching and learning or online program design.
• Background in facilitating adult learning or designing sensitive, values-laden subject matter is preferred.
