This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee and manage the version control for CDI’s catalog of both online and live learning programs.
• Take full responsibility for the upkeep and version management of Perspectives, CDI’s premier online program.
• Coordinate the release timelines for established live programs in collaboration with the Live Programs team.
• Ensure that facilitator guides, slide decks, participant handouts, and survey materials are updated in line with changes to source content.
• Maintain the changelog for Perspectives, archive outdated versions, and ensure that cohort content can be reconstructed when requested.
• Draft and edit module text, discussion prompts, activities, and assessments for review by the Senior Director of Education.
• Assist Senior Curriculum Designers with design projects that involve partner engagement.
• Conduct pre-release quality assurance for Perspectives alongside the Product team.
• Proofread materials, verify links and media, assess accessibility, and test the entire learner experience from start to finish.
• Manage and organize the content feedback backlog sourced from facilitators, partners, learner surveys, and support tickets.
• Classify requests, identify recurring themes, and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with teams across Education, Live Programs, Product, and Senior Curriculum Design.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in creating or maintaining learning content within instructional design, curriculum development, ed tech, or a similar role.
• Graduate assistantships, practicums, and significant volunteer work are considered valuable experience.
• Strong foundation in instructional design principles, including backward design, measurable learning outcomes, and adult learning theories.
• Practical experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) or course-authoring tools, such as Canvas, Moodle, Articulate Rise/Storyline, or comparable platforms.
• Familiarity with digital accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with robust systems skills, including a structured quality assurance process and proficiency in version control and documentation.
• Ability to write clearly and accessibly, simplifying complex concepts without losing depth.
• A genuine passion for constructive dialogue, diverse viewpoints, and the field of higher education.
• Preferred experience in higher education settings, such as centers for teaching and learning or in online program design.
• Preferred experience in facilitating adult learning or designing content for sensitive and value-laden topics.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Must be able to work flexibly within U.S. time zones.
