📋 Description

• Collaborate with fellow content writers to develop course materials focused on regulatory updates, human resource topics, and specific skills related to the transportation industry.

• Construct comprehensive outlines, storyboards, final assessments, and audio scripts.

• Work alongside translators, graphic designers, and voice-over professionals.

• Utilize CarriersEdge proprietary tools to compile content components into polished online products.

• Conduct research on relevant subjects and draft storyboards and content.

• Engage in review sessions with senior team members.

• Enhance content quality through a thorough process of research, organization, writing, and review.

• Communicate with remote team members via Slack, email, and Zoom.

• Attend occasional in-person meetings and industry events.

• Visit client sites to supervise photoshoots that support content creation.

• Document activities in weekly status reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in professional long-form writing, including technical writing or the development of educational materials and courses.

• Proven ability to research topics and produce accurate, detailed narratives.

• Demonstrated skill in storytelling through writing without relying on recycled bullet points.

• Expertise in spelling, grammar, and writing style.

• Proficient in using advanced features of Microsoft Word, including styles, tables, and tracking.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capability to adjust workflow to fit established processes.

• A portfolio showcasing relevant skills and experience.

• Must be a resident of Canada.

• Willingness to occasionally travel for industry events and meetings.
