This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Provide servicing and preventative maintenance for Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment as well as other electro/mechanical devices.
• Execute service and repair tasks in a manner that is both efficient and profitable.
• Record productive time against travel time accurately.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as per customer-specific service protocols.
• Maintain precise work logs and document parts utilized during each job.
• Stay current with equipment knowledge and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals and relevant details updated.
• Oversee the maintenance of company vehicles, tools, and other assets.
• Ensure an adequate inventory of parts for the service vehicle and maintain an inventory log.
• Foster positive customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Support and guide others in installation and service techniques.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously.
• Clean driving record and a valid driver's license are essential.
• Frequent climbing up and down ladders is required.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for several hours each day.
• Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, crawl, and twist the spine.
• Capacity to work in diverse climatic conditions.
• Ability to work overhead is necessary.
• Must be capable of lifting and/or carrying weights ranging from 50-75 lbs.
• A flexible work schedule is essential: availability to work nights, weekends, or on-call as needed.
• Prior experience in servicing automated doors is preferred.
• Previous experience in the construction industry installing door frames and windows is advantageous.
• An Associate's Degree in a related electrical, mechanical, or industrial field is preferred.
• Experience in Electrical, Automotive, HVAC, or Communication fields is a plus.
• Prior experience as a Glazier installing glass doors or windows, along with carpentry experience, is beneficial.
• Ability to stay updated on Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards is necessary.
• $1,500 Sign-On Bonus
