This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the main point of contact and project manager for new retirement plan clients and advisors.
• Inform plan sponsors about plan features and new operational processes with JULY.
• Address inquiries from plan sponsors and advisors regarding plan setup promptly.
• Provide consistent updates on the status of plan setup.
• Assist in creating timelines for plan installation and ensure that JULY systems are prepared to receive assets on time.
• Collaborate with TPAs and Recordkeepers to transition existing plans to the JULY Recordkeeping platform.
• Offer training and troubleshooting support for payroll uploads.
• Communicate the availability of plan documents, notices, and compliance-related items.
• Investigate and resolve client inquiries related to technology, plan operations, compliance, and other issues.
• Coordinate with team members on recordkeeping, plan conversions, and plan administration tasks.
• Maintain documentation of client projects and responses in JULY's CRM system.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in legislation/regulation.
• Complete various ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
• Over 3 years of experience in retirement plans, particularly in plan installation, conversions, or recordkeeping operations.
• Familiarity with plan setup and conversion processes from other recordkeeping or TPA platforms.
• Capability to clearly explain complex compliance matters.
• Professional and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as non-verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
• Skills in building collaborative relationships and managing rapport.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and solution-oriented individual capable of working independently.
• Client-focused mindset, demonstrating accountability, credibility, and trustworthiness.
• Openness to tackling tasks of any size.
• Positive demeanor.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• QKA ASPPA Certification preferred, or willingness to pursue ASPPA credentials.
• Previous experience in managing plan conversions or takeovers from start to finish preferred.
• Knowledge of PEP/MEP structures and pooled arrangements preferred.
• Experience in directly communicating compliance matters to plan sponsors and advisors preferred.
• Ability to manage challenging conversations in a positive and professional manner preferred.
