Installation & Commissioning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Execute commissioning activities on client catalog products.

• Document testing activities in measurement sheets and generate reports.

• Analyze technical documentation and drawings.

• Quickly identify and resolve issues in a cost-effective manner.

• Conduct Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), including documentation alongside customer representatives.

• Ensure that delivered systems successfully pass all testing procedures.

• Provide ground support during commissioning and routine flight checks.

• Offer factory and on-the-job training for maintenance and operator staff of customers.

• Carry out failure analysis and perform on-site repairs on customer products.

• Assist Project Engineering by completing As-Built Documentation and technically handing over projects.

• Supply internal technical feedback, backup files, site information, reports, and lessons learned.

• Aid in the review and updates of technical documentation.

• Maintain quality, work safety, and the appropriateness of all completed tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of RF, analog, digital, and IT technologies.

• Fundamental knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering as well as telecommunications.

• Proficiency in PC applications like Excel and Word.

• Basic understanding of networking and Ethernet devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

• Solid knowledge of ATM (Air Traffic Management) products and procedures.

• Field service experience.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills.

• Goal-focused mindset.

• Self-motivated and proactive in finding solutions.

• Team collaboration skills.

• Fluent in Italian.

• Proficient in written and spoken English is essential.

• Additional languages such as French or German are advantageous.
