📋 Description

• Conduct investigations and verify the details of loss for the most intricate Homeowners claims.

• Assess coverage and damages, adjusting and negotiating claims within authorized limits.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

• Collaborate with fraud and subrogation teams to secure optimal outcomes.

• Recognize complex customer requirements and address them with suitable customer service techniques.

• Evaluate potential for subrogation or fraud and determine the appropriate handling methods.

• Manage all facets of complex first-party Homeowners claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation, exercising discretion and independence.

• Provide services across the Northeastern territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience at the Adjuster II level or involvement in a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Litigation, Large Loss, Water Mitigation, Desk Review).

• Candidates should reside in either the Eastern or Central time zones.

• Ability to recognize and understand crucial aspects of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems.

• Advanced knowledge of the insurance policies provided by the company, as well as an understanding of industry practices and organizational dynamics within the company and department.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Must possess reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

• A dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, equipped with a suitable desk and seating, is essential.
