This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Investigate and validate the facts surrounding complex Homeowners claims.

• Assess coverage and damages, adjusting and negotiating claims within granted authority limits.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Collaborate with fraud and subrogation teams to secure optimal outcomes.

• Recognize and understand essential aspects of residential construction and repair.

• Identify intricate customer needs and respond with suitable customer service techniques.

• Evaluate subrogation or fraud potential and manage accordingly.

• Conduct investigations for intricate Homeowners first-party claims involving coverage, damages, and subrogation.

• Utilize discretion and independence while operating under an elevated level of authority.

• Serve the Northeastern territory.

• No supervisory responsibilities involved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants should reside in either Eastern or Central time zones.

• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Significant experience at the Adjuster II level or in specialized roles such as Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Litigation, Large Loss, Water Mitigation, or Desk Review.

• Advanced knowledge of insurance policies, the insurance industry, and inter-organizational dynamics.

• Familiarity with residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems.

• Proficient in case management, claims administration, insurance underwriting, relationship development, and stakeholder management.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required when working from home.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

• A suitable desk and chair for remote work setup.
