Inside Presales Security Expert – Channel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with an Inside Channel Sales Representative within a designated territory.

• Provide assistance to the sales team regarding technical aspects related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales support.

• Help in assessing sales leads from a technical perspective.

• Act as the primary technical resource during sales calls.

• Educate customers and partners on product features, specifications, functionality, and integration processes.

• Function as the principal technical contact for designated accounts concerning technical queries.

• Collaborate with the technical support team to address, escalate, and resolve customer technical concerns.

• Deliver post-sales training to selected customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.

• At least 3 years’ experience in administering LAN/WAN/Internet services.

• Strong comprehension of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP protocols.

• Familiarity with routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and antivirus technologies.

• Knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.

• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.

• Exceptional presentation abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Capability to regularly work outside the office or home office, including travel as necessary to secure sales.
