Inside Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop a presence for CCM, which includes converting incoming leads.

• Assess current rates and programs to deliver precise and timely information to borrowers.

• Negotiate terms and conditions with borrowers.

• Engage in all phases of mortgage loan origination, which involves meeting with prospects, advising borrowers, and processing mortgage applications via phone.

• Oversee personal pipeline to ensure that service standards and financial objectives are achieved.

• Acquire knowledge of borrowing programs and procedures, keeping up-to-date with changes and new offerings.

• Familiarize and utilize internal technical systems and programs.

• Analyze credit requests and identify trends in a specific marketplace.

• Adhere to relevant federal and state compliance regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales experience or origination experience in a consumer direct or call center setting.

• Experience in gathering and analyzing borrower income.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Proven experience in proactively soliciting new business.

• Familiarity with retail product philosophy, policy, underwriting, procedures, documentation, and systems.

• Preference for candidates with experience in converting leads and handling in-bound calls.

• NMLS License as per the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 is advantageous.

• State License in accordance with the SAFE Act is a plus.

• Excellent analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in standard software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
