This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote, quote, negotiate, and secure both new and renewal commercial casualty business directed to the internal brokerage team.
• Assess submissions to determine suitable markets, pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions.
• Negotiate intricate renewals and new placements with leading insurance carriers and wholesale markets.
• Review quotes and contract terms; present pricing, coverage, and conditions clearly and confidently.
• Request, examine, and evaluate additional risk information to support underwriting decisions.
• Complete policies, including recommendations, binding, invoicing, and policy issuance.
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and current carrier partners.
• Develop new carrier relationships to broaden market access and placement options.
• Ensure precision and compliance within agency management systems and documentation.
• Verify policies for accuracy and address any discrepancies.
• Prepare submissions, reports, cover letters, and other necessary documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and best practices in commercial property.
• Engage in continuous professional development and team knowledge-sharing.
• Support the Broker in cultivating, managing, and maintaining profitable business.
• Deliver high-level technical expertise, customer service, and prompt resolution of client inquiries.
• Active State Property & Casualty license and/or Surplus Lines license.
• Over 3 years of experience in wholesale casualty insurance brokerage.
• Ability to implement immediately.
• Strong foundation in Commercial Casualty placements.
• Experience managing high-volume, fast-paced brokerage workflows for large, complex commercial casualty accounts.
• Demonstrated negotiation capabilities with insurance carriers and wholesale markets.
• Exceptional accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently in a fully remote setting while remaining highly responsive.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Sales, or a related field preferred.
• Industry designations such as CIC, CISR, AAI, or progress toward CPCU preferred.
• Established relationships with carriers in the commercial property & casualty sector preferred.
