Inpatient Child Adolescent Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Deliver inpatient psychiatric services for children and adolescents.

• Engage in collaborative, team-oriented treatment settings.

• Have the option to participate in outpatient, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and residential treatment.

• Work with flexible scheduling options, including block schedules or a Monday to Friday arrangement.

• Provide shared weekend coverage, approximately 1 in 5, with the choice of remote or onsite work.

• Be available for one evening of phone-only call each week.

• Collaborate with committed clinical support staff and a multidisciplinary treatment team.

• Optionally assume leadership roles.

• Engage in teaching and mentoring activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree is required.

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Psychiatry through ABPN (mandatory).

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry through ABPN (preferred).

• Over 1 year of full-time inpatient telehealth experience is strongly preferred.

• An active Alaska Physician/Medical License in good standing is required.

• Successful candidates will excel in highly collaborative, team-based treatment environments.
