This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a team of Infringement Specialists by providing daily assistance, coaching, and consistent performance feedback.
• Supervise queue activities involving copyright, trademark, and impersonation claims.
• Serve as the operational head for team meetings, claim assessments, and urgent or escalated issues.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to escalate high-risk issues and ensure alignment with legal guidance and platform policies.
• Work in partnership with Quality Control to design, assess, and enhance tools and systems aimed at preventing infringement.
• Engage with Creator Services regarding artist-related concerns and sensitive cases.
• Coordinate efforts with Legal, Finance, Engineering, Fraud, Quality Control, and Support teams.
• Evaluate complex or high-impact cases and provide quality assurance.
• Take ownership of performance metrics and reporting, set KPIs, and leverage data to enhance operations.
• Create workflows, documentation, and decision-making tools in collaboration with Legal Operations.
• Lead the onboarding process, training initiatives, and continuous team development.
• Enhance operational efficiency, lower error rates, and scale enforcement practices.
• Monitor trends in copyright and platform enforcement and apply insights to improve outcomes.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in copyright enforcement, digital rights management, trust & safety, legal operations, content moderation, or a closely related discipline, especially within music, digital media, or online platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience in people management, including coaching, performance evaluation, employee development, and leading operational teams.
• Strong understanding of the DMCA, copyright and trademark enforcement, takedown procedures, and digital rights management.
• Outstanding organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information discreetly in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with tools such as Airtable, Google Workspace, Claude Code, Zendesk, Confluence, and other operational or legal software.
• A collaborative and proactive approach focused on safeguarding creators and enforcing policies fairly and consistently.
• Proven track record of enhancing operational processes through data-driven decision-making, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
