Infrastructure & Web Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Operate, maintain, and automate Linux systems.

• Continuously enhance and refine the system landscape.

• Provision and manage containerized applications and web services.

• Assist in automating deployments and dependency updates.

• Enhance and ensure the stable and secure operation of hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

• Integrate internal and external applications, APIs, and web services.

• Automate recurring processes and workflows.

• Further develop monitoring and alerting solutions.

• Ensure availability, stability, and performance of systems.

• Analyze and resolve technical issues impacting websites and web services.

• Support technical optimization in areas such as SEO and GEO.

• Provide operational infrastructure support and manage technical tickets as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in administering and automating Linux systems.

• Knowledge of containerized applications and the operation of web services.

• Experience in building or managing on-premises, cloud, or hybrid infrastructures.

• Good understanding of networks, secure connectivity, and fundamental infrastructure concepts.

• Experience with system integration, API connectivity, and workflow automation.

• Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and technical troubleshooting practices.

• Understanding of the stable and high-performance operation of websites and web services.

• Familiarity with technical SEO requirements.

• Knowledge of GEO is a plus.

• Structured, solution-oriented approach to work and a willingness to share your ideas.

• Ideally, experience with Linux, Ansible, GitLab, Docker, Docker Swarm, Renovate, Proxmox, AWS, WireGuard, NetBird, n8n, Icinga, Grafana Alloy, Prometheus, Grafana, REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
