Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer – Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage, maintain, and continuously enhance monitoring infrastructure utilizing Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and time series databases such as InfluxDB.

• Create, configure, and refine notification systems and escalation pathways.

• Design and document network configurations for both customer and internal projects prior to implementation.

• Work autonomously and propose enhancements to configurations and technical specifications.

• Train and onboard new team members.

• Participate in shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Provide support to colleagues beyond core responsibilities to expand expertise and assist the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, excluding educational programs or internships.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and time series databases such as InfluxDB.

• Strong networking skills with in-depth knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6.

• Familiarity with notification systems and escalation procedures.

• A solid foundation in Linux, Windows, and databases.

• Structured and independent work style with a strong emphasis on documentation.

• Proven practical skills that exceed product-specific certifications.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish.

• German language skills are an advantage.

• Willingness to participate in a shift roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
