This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Modernize, oversee, and develop enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms.
• Facilitate automation, standardization, and operational enhancement across AWS and Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Design, execute, and sustain DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform workloads.
• Create and uphold Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform or comparable templates.
• Enhance automation through Ansible and contemporary cloud capabilities.
• Streamline provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure.
• Assist with cloud landing zones, subscriptions, resource groups, and naming conventions.
• Collaborate with application and platform teams to deliver dependable, reusable infrastructure patterns.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms using log analytics to evaluate usage and performance.
• Address security and compliance mandates including identity management, encryption, logging, and access controls.
• Engage in operational support, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
• Develop, document, and execute operational procedures alongside Systems Administrators.
• Diagnose infrastructure, network, and software-related challenges.
• Provide services and support for development projects throughout the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant IT degree program.
• Over 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering positions.
• Proficient in designing and implementing AWS and Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Experience managing large projects to gather requirements and deploy resources for development teams.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with DevOps methodologies and pipeline controls.
• Professional experience serving as a technical lead for junior teammates and across various business lines.
• Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud engineering, automation, and management.
• Background in deploying and supporting container platforms.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and pipeline security measures.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Go, and .NET.
• Experience in enterprise Windows and Linux server system administration.
• Background in regulated environments, including mortgage, banking, or financial services.
• Understanding of ITIL, SRE, or platform engineering principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical skills, decisiveness, and sound judgment.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, electronic data distribution networks, cloud-based infrastructure solutions, and IT best practices.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changes in workflow.
• CompTIA A+, CCNA, Cloud Admin, or Engineer certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. upon hiring.
