Infrastructure Analyst – Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Azure Virtual Network, subnets, NSGs, VPN, ExpressRoute, Azure SQL, Azure Backup, Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID.

• Oversee user management, group permissions, and role-based access control (RBAC).

• Assist in the enforcement of security measures, access control, and compliance protocols.

• Monitor the availability, performance, and capacity of various environments.

• Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and issues.

• Develop and uphold backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability procedures.

• Automate processes using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Aid in server and service migration initiatives to the cloud.

• Generate technical documentation, operational procedures, and reporting materials.

• Collaborate with vendors as well as network, security, development, and support teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure.

• Practical experience in administering Azure environments.

• Capability to execute moderately complex tasks independently.

• Background in troubleshooting, production environment support, and incident management.

• Involvement in cloud migration, modernization, or expansion projects.

• Experience in administering Windows Server systems, with a preference for Linux.

• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and load balancing.

• Familiarity with Azure Networking, virtual machines, and storage solutions.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and access management policies.

• Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI.

• Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools.

• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.

• Awareness of cloud security principles, MFA, Zero Trust, and least privilege concepts.

• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and incident/change management tools.

• Basic understanding of automation using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

• Knowledge of Azure cost management and governance strategies.

• Willingness to work shifts or be on-call when required.

• A strong focus on security, stability, and cost optimization.
