This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• Oversee the daily IT operations, infrastructure, networks, cloud services, applications, and end-user technology of the organization.
• Guarantee the availability, reliability, performance, security, and scalability of IT systems and services.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, collaboration tools, and endpoint environments.
• Supervise IT service management, covering service desk operations, incidents, service requests, problems, changes, assets, and service levels.
• Direct the resolution of technical challenges and major incidents, ensuring timely root-cause analysis and corrective measures.
• Oversee IT security measures, including identity and access management, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response.
• Ensure that backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT resilience capabilities are properly maintained and tested.
• Lead and support IT projects, system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and initiatives focused on technology improvement.
• Assess technology solutions and recommend systems, tools, and services that align with business and operational needs.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, software licensing, contracts, procurement, and technology assets.
• Track IT budgets, costs, resources, and technology usage, pinpointing opportunities for efficiency and optimization.
• Develop and uphold IT policies, procedures, standards, documentation, and operational processes.
• Recognize technology risks and ensure that suitable mitigation actions are taken.
• Ensure compliance of IT systems with organizational policies, security requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Monitor IT performance using service-level agreements, KPIs, dashboards, and operational reports.
• Identify recurring technical and operational challenges and implement enhancements to avert future incidents.
• Advocate for automation, standardization, and efficient technology usage throughout the organization.
• Maintain precise documentation of IT infrastructure, applications, systems, assets, and technology processes.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the IT team, ensuring clear responsibilities, performance goals, and ongoing skills development.
• Manage IT workload and resources to effectively meet operational requirements and project priorities.
• Collaborate with HR to oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, access, devices, and other technology needs.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, and other business functions to comprehend requirements and deliver efficient IT solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to management regarding technology decisions, risks, investments, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with external technical specialists and managed service providers when additional expertise is necessary.
• Furnish regular reports to management detailing IT performance, projects, risks, service issues, costs, and technology priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in an IT management, supervisory, or senior technical position.
• Extensive experience managing IT infrastructure, cloud services, networking, enterprise applications, end-user computing, and IT service delivery.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and/or other major cloud platforms.
• Experience with enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, wireless technologies, and connectivity solutions.
• Proven experience managing endpoint environments, device management, software deployment, and endpoint security.
• Practical knowledge of cybersecurity, identity and access management, vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and technology resilience strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects, system implementations, migrations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Experience overseeing IT vendors, managed service providers, contracts, licensing, procurement, and technology assets.
• Proficient in managing IT budgets, forecasting costs, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
• Familiarity with IT service management processes, including incident, problem, change, request, asset, and service-level management.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, security controls, and technology policies.
• Knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or other relevant frameworks is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to troubleshoot complex technical and operational challenges.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, with a talent for building and developing high-performing IT teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to convey technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities, projects, vendors, and operational requirements concurrently.
• Ability to work independently, make informed technical decisions, and operate effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Azure, AWS, GCP, CompTIA, or other technology certifications are a plus.
