Information Security Engineer – IS Engr I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Azure cloud security initiatives, focusing on control implementation.

• Act as a representative for security on the Cloud Architecture Review Board and Change Advisory Board.

• Assist in developing the readiness plan for post-quantum cryptography.

• Lead efforts for vulnerability remediation in collaboration with development teams using CrowdStrike and OX Security.

• Engage in the security on-call rotation, managing triage through CrowdStrike Complete.

• Assess and secure AI tools, integrations, and agents prior to their deployment.

• Review and authorize MCP servers in accordance with the governance framework.

• Provide support to the AI Steering Committee regarding security needs for AI projects.

• Address vendor and employee software requests by approving or denying them based on risk assessment.

• Conduct risk evaluations of architecture, product, and engineering designs early in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Manage quarterly reviews of all user access.

• Execute additional related responsibilities as required to fulfill organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in security engineering or cloud security.

• Proven track record in conducting access reviews.

• Familiarity with AI agents and MCP, including their associated access and data exposure risks.

• Practical experience with tools such as Claude, CrowdStrike, OX Security, Delinea, or similar technologies.

• Successful history of driving projects to completion with limited supervision.

• Highly responsive with effective communication with stakeholders throughout projects.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

• Essential software experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Essential software experience with CrowdStrike.
