Information Security Consultant – Junior/Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of cybersecurity evaluations, which encompass interviews with both business and IT teams, along with evidence collection and analysis.

• Evaluate controls and maturity levels based on frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001/27002, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and COBIT.

• Detect gaps and risks while offering prioritized recommendations and actionable plans.

• Create reports, executive presentations, and other essential project deliverables.

• Aid in the formulation and review of information security policies, standards, and procedures.

• Engage in client meetings and monitor the progress of action plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity assessments or diagnostic engagements.

• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001/27002, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and COBIT frameworks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for producing clear reports.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, encompassing Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
