This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Offer technical leadership and establish direction for IT architecture, standards, design, and implementation methodologies.
• Direct and conduct architecture security reviews in alignment with information security standards, policies, and regulatory obligations.
• Execute risk assessments and threat analysis to pinpoint information security risks and vulnerabilities within intricate IT and manufacturing applications and systems.
• Promote standardization and adoption of TOGAF cybersecurity building blocks.
• Provide cybersecurity advice and support for IT and manufacturing solutions.
• Integrate application security principles into solution designs, processes, and standards.
• Offer architectural and design advice for enterprise-wide projects and strategic initiatives focused on information security and privacy.
• Assist development and infrastructure teams with complex application security designs and vulnerabilities.
• Define solution architecture in accordance with Jabil methodology.
• Lead technical solutions for customers, project managers, domain architects, specialists, and application engineers.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Senior IT Architects.
• Evaluate alternative technical strategies and achieve consensus.
• Ensure non-functional requirements, including security, disaster recovery, availability, and performance, are met.
• Investigate technology and industry trends.
• Validate solutions through modeling or prototyping prior to implementation.
• Cultivate expertise in an architecture discipline.
• Mentor IT professionals.
• Develop project plans and influence project organization.
• Apply system sizing methodology and assess changes against scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
• Define delivery and deployment processes along with production management tools.
• Identify opportunities for organizational improvement using Lean Six Sigma or other methodologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement remediation actions.
• Contribute to Jabil's intellectual property through patent development and submission.
• Specify technical job content and qualifications for key technical infrastructure roles.
• Assist in assessing and developing staff skill sets and addressing staffing knowledge gaps.
• Publish and present to customers, IT leaders, and business executives.
• Engage with vendors and third parties as necessary.
• Foster peer relationships with Senior IT Architects.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Post-graduate degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in a related field is required.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, or experience will be considered.
• Knowledge and experience in designing secure IT and manufacturing applications and systems.
• Familiarity with architecture risk reviews is essential.
• Experience with the adoption and standardization of TOGAF is necessary.
• Strong understanding of threat modeling, including OWASP and MITRE frameworks.
• Comprehension of architectural components and their interrelations.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and architectural methods.
• Familiarity with identifying and mitigating cybersecurity gaps within internally developed LLM, GenAI, and Agentic AI models.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments of LLM, GenAI, and Agentic AI models.
• Background in Identity and Access Management, Cloud Security, Data Security, and Application Security.
• Solid understanding of secure software development practices, vulnerability detection, identification, and remediation.
• Strong knowledge of application vulnerabilities and remediation strategies.
• Familiarity with compliance and application security standards as well as enterprise risk management methods.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Good judgment and capability to manage stressful situations.
• Experience in leading application development teams.
• Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as Java or C#.
• Familiarity with server-side technologies.
• Knowledge of client-side technologies like Node and Angular.
• Experience working within an Agile methodology.
• Understanding of SOA, REST, SOAP, API Management, ESB, and EIP integration patterns.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with UML or ArchiMate.
• Understanding of cloud technologies.
• Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Preferred certifications include CCSP, CCSK, GCLD, GCSA, GWEB, GPCS, and GCPN.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, Open CA, TOGAF 9 Foundation, and ArchiMate 3 Practitioner are preferred but not mandatory.
