Information Request Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Update patient accounts with information received from healthcare facilities.

• Coordinate follow-ups with the Contact Specialist.

• Access client connections and computer systems to gather information for account updates.

• Monitor requests to ensure they do not exceed the required timeframe.

• Execute special projects or assigned duties as needed.

• Assist the IT department in resolving access-related issues.

• Serve as a liaison between claims representatives and healthcare providers.

• Facilitate the prompt resolution of client accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Proficient knowledge of Excel and Word is necessary.

• Ability to quickly learn various hospital databases and internal applications.

• Strong skills in navigating computer systems.

• Experience using multiple software applications simultaneously.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional context.

• High level of customer service expertise required.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision or direction.

• Ability to understand client and Operations processes.

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

• Organizational and prioritization skills are necessary.

• Must reside in the United States in one of the designated states.

• Secure internet connection with a download speed of over 20 Mbps and an upload speed of over 10 Mbps is required.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

• A successful background check is required.
