Informatica Solution Architect – MDM, Enterprise Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the discovery process, evaluate the current state, and design target-state solution architecture within the realms of Informatica, SAP ECC, MDM, PLM, and the wider enterprise integration ecosystem.

• Work closely with Informatica as a key strategic technology partner.

• Analyze existing MDM and integration landscapes that encompass Informatica, SAP ECC, the upcoming SAP S/4HANA, middleware, PLM, and associated systems.

• Document applications, data flows, interfaces, ownership, dependencies, criticality, and operational controls systematically.

• Evaluate integration patterns including batch, near-real-time, API-led, event-driven, file-based, message-based, and point-to-point strategies.

• Review master-data domain models, sources, match-and-merge processes, survivorship, trust levels, hierarchies, validations, workflows, and distribution mechanisms.

• Assess product and material processes, covering hierarchies, units of measure, classifications, plant extensions, MRP attributes, statuses, recipes, formulations, BOMs, and product structures.

• Establish target-state architecture, canonical data models, and reusable services.

• Design controls for sequencing, idempotency, duplicate prevention, validation, acknowledgement, retry, replay, and reconciliation processes.

• Validate product capabilities, licensing assumptions, constraints, roadmaps, and implementation options in collaboration with Informatica.

• Ensure that designs accommodate future SAP S/4HANA, cloud, analytics, AI, and regional transformation initiatives.

• Facilitate discovery and architecture workshops while developing an implementation roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior Informatica MDM and enterprise integration architecture.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC integration and master-data management.

• Proficiency in assessing complex landscapes and formulating practical target-state solutions.

• Practical understanding of API, event, batch, CDC, messaging, and file-based integration patterns.

• Exceptional consulting, workshop facilitation, and client-facing communication skills.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, PLM, and Consumer Packaged Goods is preferred and advantageous.

• Previous direct experience working with Informatica product or partner teams is preferred and advantageous.

• Prior experience in discovery-to-RFP or architecture-led transformation initiatives is preferred and advantageous.
