Informatica Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Analyze business and functional requirements and convert them into efficient data and technology solutions.

• Engage in the design of data and integration solutions spanning both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Examine and work with data models, databases, ERP systems, ETL processes, and BI platforms.

• Support initiatives related to data governance and contribute to strategies for data management.

• Comprehend business objectives and translate them into applicable KPIs and data requirements.

• Lead or take part in workshops with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Collect, document, and validate both functional and technical requirements.

• Collaborate with development, data, architecture, and business teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Operate within Agile methodologies, engaging in relevant ceremonies and delivery activities.

• Provide functional and technical expertise regarding Informatica solutions.

• Assist in establishing best practices and fostering continuous improvement of data solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 4 years of experience in technology consulting.

• More than 4 years of experience working with Informatica technologies.

• Demonstrated capability to lead workshops and independently gather and define requirements.

• Strong grasp of data modeling, data integration, and data governance.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience in Agile working environments.

• Solid knowledge of Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

• Strong understanding of Informatica PowerCenter.

• Familiarity with Informatica Cloud / IDMC, CDGC, and Master Data Management (MDM) is an advantage.
