Informatica Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Analyze business and functional requirements and convert them into efficient data and technology solutions.

• Engage in the design of data and integration solutions across both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Analyze and collaborate with data models, databases, ERP systems, ETL processes, and BI platforms.

• Support data governance initiatives and assist in developing data management strategies.

• Comprehend business objectives and translate them into pertinent KPIs and data requirements.

• Lead or take part in workshops with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Collect, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.

• Collaborate with development, data, architecture, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Operate within Agile methodologies, participating in relevant ceremonies and delivery activities.

• Offer functional and technical expertise regarding Informatica solutions.

• Contribute to establishing best practices and the ongoing enhancement of data solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Over 4 years of experience in technology consulting.

• More than 4 years of experience with Informatica technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to lead workshops and independently collect and define requirements.

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data governance principles.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience in Agile working environments.

• In-depth knowledge of Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

• Comprehensive knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter.

• Familiarity with data models, databases, ERP systems, ETL processes, BI platforms, cloud and on-premises architectures, business strategy, KPI definition, and data governance.

• Experience with Informatica Cloud / IDMC, CDGC, and Master Data Management (MDM) is a plus.
