This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manages assigned clinical operations cases and associated tasks to ensure prompt patient onboarding, service advancement, and case resolution within established service expectations.
• Assesses enrollment, prescription, and related clinical documentation for completeness, relevance, and readiness to facilitate patient services through defined workflows.
• Works in partnership with providers, pharmacies, reimbursement teams, logistics, and other related departments to address standard exceptions and coordinate subsequent steps for patient care and medication accessibility.
• Delivers clinical process guidance to patients and healthcare providers using approved terminology to clarify documentation requirements, service pathways, and appointment-related necessities.
• Analyzes routine requests concerning care delivery environments and service viability by implementing protocols, operational limitations, and clinical support necessities.
• Accurately records case activities, clinical updates, and mandatory documentation in designated systems to ensure traceability, quality standards, and continuity during transitions.
• Recognizes recurring workflow challenges, appropriately escalates adverse events and clinical-risk indicators, and proposes low-risk enhancements to templates, job aids, and routing procedures.
• A Bachelor's degree in nursing, clinical care, healthcare, or a related area, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, clinical care, patient support, care coordination, case management, medical or hospital practice, insurance, biopharma, or a related field is mandatory.
• A nursing license is required.
• Certification in case management, oncology nursing, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical operations, patient support processes, and case coordination workflows within healthcare and biopharma settings is essential.
• Understanding of medical terminology, treatment-related information, and patient access or support pathways pertinent to routine and moderately complex cases is necessary.
• Awareness of documentation standards, service procedures, and cross-functional coordination requirements is crucial to maintain accurate and timely case progression.
