Bilingual Medical Receptionist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, and messages from patients.

• Provide professional support to patients, healthcare providers, and staff.

• Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring patient confidentiality is upheld.

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments as needed.

• Coordinate daily schedules and calendars for providers.

• Assist patients with inquiries related to appointments and follow-up communications.

• Verify eligibility and benefits of patient insurance.

• Update and maintain patient demographic information within EMR/EHR systems.

• Ensure patient records are accurate and well-organized.

• Support daily administrative operations for healthcare providers.

• Maintain administrative documentation, reports, and databases.

• Assist with special projects and take on additional administrative tasks.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote efficient office operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting U.S. healthcare accounts in a medical practice, BPO, CPO, or freelance healthcare setting.

• Advanced bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).

• Neutral or minimal English accent with outstanding verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.

• Experience in verifying insurance eligibility.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

• Excellent organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and effective time management.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Comfortable engaging directly with patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
