Industrial/Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Convert product concepts, references, sketches, and existing physical items into precise digital designs, technical drawings, tech packs, and production-ready specifications.

• Design and modify products for motorcycle components and accessories, bags and luggage, clothing, protective gear, combat sports equipment, and various consumer goods.

• Generate comprehensive product specifications that include dimensions, materials, components, construction methods, stitching, hardware, color schemes, finishes, and other manufacturing criteria.

• Collaborate with internal teams and overseas manufacturers throughout the design, sampling, feedback, revision, and final production phases.

• Produce accurate technical illustrations and product designs using Adobe Illustrator, CAD software, and other pertinent design tools.

• Develop and adjust CAD files for physical products, including those provided by manufacturing partners.

• Prepare technical design files that clearly communicate product dimensions, construction details, components, and specifications for manufacturing purposes.

• Assist with 3D modeling, prototyping, scanning, and 3D printing as the in-house product development capabilities grow.

• Design packaging and production-ready artwork that includes product information, branding, logos, and necessary elements.

• Consistently apply established brand identities across products, packaging, color schemes, and physical brand touchpoints.

• Occasionally assist with branding, logo, illustration, and graphic design tasks for in-house brands.

• Work alongside the current designer to produce creative outputs across the product and brand portfolio.

• Oversee multiple product design projects while ensuring accuracy, organization, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Prioritize and advance a significant product development pipeline in collaboration with the existing in-house designer.

• Manage projects, priorities, and design workflows utilizing Asana.

• Respond to feedback and efficiently refine designs while keeping organized files, specifications, and revisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in product design, industrial design, technical design, product development, or a closely related field involving physical products.

• Extensive experience in creating detailed tech packs, technical drawings, specification sheets, or other documentation ready for production.

• Exceptional attention to detail regarding measurements, materials, components, construction, and product specifications.

• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, especially for technical illustration and product design.

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and familiar with the broader Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or another relevant CAD platform.

• Strong comprehension of physical product design and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to convert concepts, reference products, sketches, or ideas into clear, detailed, and production-ready digital designs.

• Experience in iterating designs and collaborating with manufacturers through the sampling and revision stages.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and maintain momentum in a busy product development pipeline.

• A strong portfolio showcasing physical product design and technical design work.

• Familiarity with 3D CAD modeling, 3D printing, prototyping, or 3D scanning for physical product development.

• Experience collaborating directly with overseas manufacturers or factories during product development and sampling.

• Experience designing consumer products such as bags, luggage, apparel, sporting goods, motorcycle products, accessories, or equipment.

• Background in graphic design including packaging, branding, logos, brand identity, or illustration.

• A passion for motorcycles, motorsports, action sports, combat sports, or related industries.

• A relevant qualification in Industrial Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline (not mandatory, but a valuable asset).
