Indonesian Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations with the model on various language scenarios

• Ensure factual correctness and logical coherence

• Document reproducible error traces

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

• Record model failure modes to strengthen model reasoning

• Assist in training large-scale language models for understanding the Indonesian language

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the Indonesian language, covering grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics

• Capability to challenge advanced language models regarding sentence structure, verb conjugation, noun-adjective agreement, regional dialects, idiomatic expressions, and distinctions between formal and informal speech

• Competence in documenting model failure modes

• Skill in verifying factual accuracy and logical soundness

• Expertise in capturing reproducible error traces

• Ability to recommend improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

• Clear and metacognitive communication; demonstrating your thought process

• A master’s or PhD in Indonesian language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred

• Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or involvement in practical linguistic analysis projects indicate a strong fit
