This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Assist in the governance and oversight of the Incident Management lifecycle.
• Facilitate incident reviews, post-mortem governance activities, remediation tracking, and operational reporting.
• Examine incident trends, recurring issues, and operational risks to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering and SRE teams to enhance operational resilience and incident management practices.
• Advocate for compliance with Incident and Problem Management policies, standards, procedures, and training.
• Aid in the governance and oversight of SDLC and Change Management processes, controls, standards, and procedures.
• Organize Change Advisory Board governance activities and change reviews.
• Conduct change risk assessments, governance reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities.
• Support change freeze planning, exception management, and readiness reviews.
• Generate executive reports, dashboards, scorecards, and operational metrics.
• Analyze data related to incidents, changes, and governance to identify trends and emerging risks.
• Assist with audit requests, control reviews, and regulatory engagements.
• Prepare supporting documentation, evidence, and management reporting materials.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing operational resilience, technology risk, and governance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for governance-related technology platforms.
• Gather requirements and assist in enhancements to governance, workflow, reporting, and analytics solutions.
• Coordinate user feedback, enhancement requests, and process improvement initiatives.
• Propel workflow automation and enhancements to governance effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Support the ownership and maintenance of Incident Management, Post-Mortem, Change Management, and Operational Resilience procedures.
• Contribute to the development of policies, standards, playbooks, training materials, and governance documentation.
• Provide guidance and best practices to engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology Management; or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Incident Management, Change Management, Production Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Engineering Governance, Operations, Technology, or Operational Risk.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including familiarity with AI tools.
• Proficient in data analytics, visualization, and reporting tools such as advanced Microsoft Excel, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced conversational English and Spanish are essential.
• If a foreigner residing in Mexico, valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC are required.
• Preferred: experience in supporting audits, regulatory reviews, or control assessments.
• Preferred: familiarity with operational resilience, governance, risk, and control frameworks.
• Preferred: experience with workflow management, governance, reporting, or analytics platforms.
• Preferred: knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, product ownership, or SDLC governance practices.
• ITIL, Agile, Product Ownership, Risk Management, or related certifications are advantageous.
