Senior Data Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Establish and execute data governance policies, standards, and procedures.

• Oversee data quality, including the monitoring, correction, and prevention of discrepancies.

• Ensure adherence to Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other relevant regulations.

• Collaborate closely with business and IT teams to define data ownership, stewardship, and associated roles.

• Engage in data integration and migration projects, ensuring compliance with governance practices.

• Generate data quality and governance reports and metrics for stakeholders.

• Foster the development of a data-driven culture throughout the organization.

• Assist with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Catalog initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or enterprise data management.

• Proven experience in complex environments and digital transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with Data Lakes, Big Data, and Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).

• Understanding of governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).

• Proficient in data modeling and metadata management.

• Knowledge of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and related compliance issues.

• Certifications such as CDMP or DAMA are advantageous.

• Experience with data governance and data quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Talend, SAP MDG).
