Inbound/Outbound Queue Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee and track both inbound and outbound authorization work queues

• Receive, assess, and process authorization applications along with supporting documents

• Evaluate requests for thoroughness and pinpoint missing or incomplete details

• Direct authorization applications to the relevant team or department

• Handle fax, email, and electronic submissions pertinent to service authorization processes

• Address inquiries related to authorizations and furnish status updates

• Input and uphold precise information within authorization and care management systems

• Record actions taken and maintain necessary documentation

• Assist with administrative and operational workflows associated with service authorizations

• Keep track of pending requests and support follow-up tasks

• Uphold productivity, accuracy, and quality standards while managing a high-volume workload

• Contribute to special projects, backlog reduction initiatives, and operational efforts

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational abilities

• Capability to perform effectively in a dynamic, high-volume operational setting

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems

• Skill in prioritizing and managing several tasks while adhering to set deadlines

• Keen attention to detail and dedication to precision

• Experience in healthcare, Medicaid, managed care, service authorization, administrative support, or customer service is preferred
